PEREIRA: Richard Orlando “Rick”

Passed away peacefully at Hospice Peterborough on Saturday July 16, 2022.  Rick Pereira of Lakefield, formerly of Pickering in his 78^th year.  Rick was a long-time employee of Bell Canada for 38 years.  He is loved and missed by his wife Frances “Fran” and his children Angela Pereira (Ian) of Toronto, Jennifer Brown of Brooklin, David Pereira (Laurie) of Whitby, Steven Pereira (Kristen) of Hamilton, Matthew Pereira (Celeste) of Halifax and Jessica Forrest (Ben) of North Vancouver.  Loving Grandad of Connell, Brayden, Jordyn, Dominic and Cristian.  Also missed by his brother Peter Pereira of Toronto.  Predeceased by his parents Sonny and Sonia.  Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield on Tuesday July 26, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and Wednesday July 27, 2022 from 10:30 – 11:30 AM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church, Lakefield on Wednesday July 27, 2022 at 12:00 PM.  A reception will follow in the Parish Hall with interment at St. Mary’s R.C. Cemetery, Young’s Point.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Peterborough, P.R.H.C.
