SNIDER, Paul D.
(Retired employee of Quaker Oats, Volunteer for the Douro-Dummer Fire Department, and
member of Towerline Hunt Camp).
Paul Snider of Douro, in his 87 th year, passed away at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on
July 8, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Doris (nee Lee). Loving father of Glen Downey
(Sharon) of Kelowna, BC, Debra Stockdale of Montana, and Donna Wilford (Pat) of Norwood.
Papa will always be loved and remembered by Jonathon (Julie), Kate (John), Shereen (Bilaal),
Jordan (Nicole), Trevor (Natalie), Mandy, Amanda (Dan), Glenda (Tim), Nic (Taylor), Delenn,
Glenford (Rachel), and by several great grandchildren. Also remembered by his siblings Nancy
Kelly (Bob) and Marie Morrison (late Pius). Predeceased by his parents Eldred and Helen Snider
and daughters Janet and Judy.
A funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES- NORWOOD CHAPEL, 36
Queen Street, Norwood, on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 1:00 pm with visitation to commence
two hours prior to the service. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, memorial
donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
