Obituary of Robert James Hughes

ROBERT (BOB) HUGHES passed away peacefully with his family by his side at PRHC on July 6, 2022.  Bob grew up in Bobcaygeon, attended McMaster University and later moved to Peterborough, Ontario where he raised his family.  He had a long and successful career, teaching geography at several local secondary schools.  He had a passion for travel and enjoyed visiting many countries around the world.  He was a lover of hockey, skiing, fishing, cottaging and spending time with family and friends.  He will be dearly missed by his wife Margo (nee Lockwood) and his children Adam (Dena) and Heather Ahee (Nathan).  Bob was a devoted Poppa to Abigail, Penny, Jack and Samuel.   A private Celebration of Life will take place at BURLEIGH FALLS INN on August 4th, 2022 starting at 2PM.
