Dear Lynda. I still remember the day your mom came into the store thru my cash. Her french accent immediately brought to mind my own mom & even some of her mannerisms were the same. I always looked forward to seeing her, it was a little like hearing my mom's voice again. I'm so sorry for the heartache you are feeling but you were & are a great daughter & she was blessed to have you as you were blessed with her. Take care & God Bless You.

Dear Lynda
Our sincere condolances in the loss of your Mom. She amazed me when I would see her on her lawn in the fall rakeing her leaves as best she could. Her spunk and zest for life undoubtedly contributed to her longevity. This world needs more like her. R.I.P. Leah.

Lynda and Rodger, Gary and I were so sorry to hear about the passing of your beautiful mother. To have lived to be over 100 says a lot about an incredible lady. We are so glad you shared her with us from time to time. I will NEVER FORGET her lovely black leather pants and turtle neck sweater she wore when she visited us, striking woman! Her sense of humour, her smile, and her love for a glass of "Crown" will never be forgotten. As I said in my email to you earlier, Heaven is a better Place now that she has arrived. Stay well.

Lynda wanted to share our condolences with you for your loss of Mom. My memories of aunt Leah is her "ball of fire"and "no nonsense" personality. She was always very welcoming when we visited - her and granny(Toni) were two peas in pod. Always loved her laughter. Living next door for a while brought many fun times as a family.
We are thinking about you at this time.

I do have found memories, as a young teenager I remember being impressed by your Mom driving that boat to the cottege like nobodies business.... I remember tons of laughter, no nonsense 'Paquet way' of living life and truly kind and serviceable way to welcome and treat people. Rest in peace ma tante after living a full life!
Merci cousine for the great story telling orbituary, I learned a lot about ma tante, that brought a much better understanding of her active life.

I have many fond memories of my dear Aunt; I remember when she moved to Toronto from N.B. in the 1950's and lived in a flat on Spidina Ave./Bloor; when she married Les, they shared a special bond; when Lynda was born and the many years they spent at the lake; when Les and Jim Seymour were finishing one cottage while building the other side by side;a life well lived and so many pages in her book of life; I had my last visit 2 weeks before and she was still animated and talkative; I was always amazed at her ability to recall people, names, places and events; whenever I called her on the phone it was generally a one way conversation because she remembered everything, and I will miss her voice; her memory will live on through the cottage; her special place; a long life well lived; she was and always will be my dear Aunt Leah.

Dear Mom, as you join with Dad and so many other family members and friends that await you, may you rest in peace, however that peace may not last too long as I'm sure there will be quite the celebration going on. I'm comforted to know you are safe in the hands of the Lord. You have left us with so many memories that your memory will last another 100 years! Love You!! Lynda & Rodger
