McMILLAN: Trevor George “Ted”

Passed away suddenly at his home as the result of a heart attack on Saturday May 21, 2022.  Ted McMillan of Peterborough, formerly of Warsaw, in his 74^th year.  Ted owned and operated Warsaw Excavating for many years and was the proud owner of Trevella Farms in Peterborough.  He is loved and missed by his wife of 52 years, Ella (nee Traynor) and his children Kelly Murney (Chuck),  Katy Price-Blinn (Geoff), Kurt McMillan (Stephanie) and Kora Barraball (Dan), all of Peterborough.  Loving Papa of Trevor, Sophia, Brayden, Julia, Noah, Taylor, Carter, Cohen, Jordyn, Max, Georgia, Aidan and Callie.  Survived by his sisters Mae Evans (Doug) of Peterborough, Sharon MacDonald (the late Dan Brady) of Peterborough, Katherine Ward (Bud) of Lakefield, Gail Perry (Kevin) of Peterborough, brother Murray McMillan (Heather) of Cambray, sister-in-law Ethel Byer (the late Bert) and several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents Archie and Edith, son-in-law Gerry Price, sisters Helen Walker (Ron), Dora Young (Ben), Effie White (Russell), Ethel Brault (Sparky), Alice Collins (Bill) and brothers Billy McMillan (Muriel) and Johnny McMillan.  Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield on Sunday May 29, 2022 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm.  A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday May 30, 2022 at 11:00 am.  Cremation to follow.  A reception will follow the funeral service at the funeral home.  Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario, The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, or the Canadian Cancer Society as expressions of sympathy, and may be made by contacting the funeral home at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-652-3355.
