I've just learned of Mrs. Wilson's passing, and wanted to give my condolences to the Wilson family. From the first time I had the pleasure of meeting Namie, she made me feel comfortable and part of the family. We stayed in touch for many years, until she left Apsley. Aunt Namie was a wonderful lady who cared deeply for her family and friends. She always greeted me with a hug and a smile. When Byron did her snowplowing many years ago he fondly remembered her having a coffee and sandwich ready for him everytime he finished plowing and shoveling. I think he looked forward to those snow storms so he could have a short visit with her. You are missed Aunt Namie. You were one of a kind. Rest in peace. I have been friends w Namie’s only daughter, Susan, since we were kids in public school. The many times I spent at Susan’s home were always fun. Namie always greeted me w a huge hug. The house was loud, & busy. Made me feel like I was home ( I also come from a lrg family) I remember that Namie made the most beautiful outfits, & that she made the best bread. Namie loved it when she could just sit down & enjoy a good conversation & a laugh w you. She loved her family. She cared about others. We ( I married her nephew) will miss Namie greatly. I’m so happy she has left such a wonderful legacy.Rest in peace Namie. You will not be forgotten. Huge hugs & love to all of Namies family.
