TAYLOR: Margaret Rose “Roseday”

Passed away peacefully at the P.R.H.C. on Sunday May 1, 2022 in her 80th year. Roseday was born on May 16, 1942 in Curve Lake First Nation. Roseday was a foster parent for 18 years and many children have benefitted from her loving care.  She worked for a time at Whetung’s in Curve Lake and as the caretaker at Curve Lake Church.  She was very active in her community, always loving and kind to her dear friends and many will remember the backyard skating parties she would involve many of the children in.  Predeceased by her late husband Richard (Chief) Taylor and her late partner Clinton (Peter) Taylor. Predeceased by her parents Stanley and Greta Taylor. Dedicated and loving mother of Ramona Pearson (Edwin), Charlotte Taylor, Crystal (Dugan) Harwood (Russell). Proud Granny of Brianna, Mira, Addison, Riley, Jordyn, Sauake and Zefrina. Dear sister of Freddy and Arnold.  Missed by her son-in-law Gregman Pearson.  Predeceased by Charlotte “Moyah”, Leroy, David, Kenny, Elizabeth “Beano”, Darlene and Iona.  Also predeceased by her best friend Ruby Taylor.  Roseday will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.  Friends and relatives may call at the Curve Lake Church, on Sunday May 15, 2022 from 7:00 – 9:00 PM.  A funeral service will be held at the church on Monday May 16, 2022 at 11:00 AM.  Interment Curve Lake Cemetery.  A reception will follow at the Curve Lake Community Centre.  Memorial donations may be made to the P.R.H.C.
