Eleanor May Tidmarsh born in Toronto 1930 passed peacefully March 8th 2022. Daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Tossell.
Adored Wife of the late Cyril Lawrence Tidmarsh (2015)
Much loved mother to Gary and Nancy (Shirley).
Eleanor and Cyril built a cottage from the ground up when their children were young and spent many happy times with friends and family at Kashagawigamong Lake.
Eleanor was a gracious hostess. Their Christmas Eve parties were legendary.
Eleanor spent the last 11 years in Pinecrest Nursing Home suffering from Alzheimer’s. Cyril visited every day until his death even though she did not recognize him. They were together over 60 years and their mutual love of travel took them all over the world.
A huge thank you to Pinecrest Nursing Home in Bobcaygeon for their superior care and love.
Friends and family may join a graveside service March 22nd 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens located at 2700 Kingston Road, Scarborough On.
