Blake was a good friend to my husband John and I for over 50 years. He always made it a point to come and visit us when he was in Canada, and even after John passed away, he called every so often to catch up, and to tell me he was still praying for me. I miss that. He told me that he was having a Bible study with his great granddaughter, and was so happy to be doing that even though he had to use modern technology and it wasn't really his forte. His heart for the Lord was so obvious. Now he is set free from his aging and worn out body, but he is still worshipping the Lord. I enjoyed watching the service, and all the shared memories. Someday we will all meet again, and that is something we look forward to. I pray that God will comfort each member of his family in this time of loss.
