BARKER: Inez Blanche (Long time employee of Holiday Inn, Peterborough)

Passed away with family by her side at St. Joseph’s at Fleming, Peterborough on Thursday January 13, 2022.  Inez Barker (Doney) of Peterborough, formerly of Bancroft in her 92^nd year.  Inez was the loving wife of Allan Barker (d. 2011).  Sadly missed by her children Dave Barker (Cindy McNeely) of Geraldton and Diane Barker (Alan Roe) of Toronto.  Loving Gram of Michael Barker and great grama of Courtney, Jessica, Alexandria and Samantha.  Survived by her brothers Allan Doney, Mervin Doney (Diana), sister-in-law Edith Doney and numerous nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her parents William and Charlotte, sisters Celia Steele (George), Helen Spence (Elmer), Doris Rutledge (Harry), Hazel Kinder (George) and brothers Emerson Doney (Audrey) and Murray Doney.  A private funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield, on Wednesday January 19, 2022 at 1:00 PM.  You are invited to watch the funeral service by clicking in the link available on the memorial page for Inez at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com.  Interment Lakefield Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Joseph’s at Fleming Foundation or Parkinson Canada as expressions of sympathy and may be made by contacting the funeral home at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-652-3355.
