Dear Sue and family,
I was so distressed to hear that our dear Marg is gone.
Edward and I became friends with Marg around our common interest and involvement in the Board of Regency Village Condos.
We enjoyed visits with Marg and laterly Don at the farm.
My mother Eileen Filman so enjoyed Marg's presence as a neighbour.
It was very moving for me to see Marg at Edward's burial.
She was a treasured friend.
Marg was a unique individual, a person of integrity, loyalty and intention,
who was never afraid express her beliefs and do what was right for the greater good.
She had a brilliant mind and a wicked sense of humour.
I will miss her terribly.
My condolences to you all.
Mary Ferguson-Paré

Sue and family, I very sorry to hear the passing of your Mom. Marg and I always had a little chat when she saw me coming and going from the condo building where she was Mom and Jack's neighbour. Then of course they followed each other down the street to Regency Retirement. I will miss seeing her. Thinking of you. Dianne Johnston

Dear Sue and Jim; saying goodbye to a parent is among the hardest things we all have to go through. Marg was most certainly a very fine lady, effervescence fairly beamed from her bright eyes that also held a slightly mischievous glint. Your families will miss her greatly.
Our sincerest condolences,
Stephanie and Jim Forrester

I'm so sorry to hear of Marg's passing. She was very involved in her community and will be missed by many. I had the pleasure of working with Marg throughout her many years as a volunteer at our local library. She always had a smile and a kind word for those she met throughout the day and her dry sense of humour was greatly appreciated. My condolences to Sue and Chris and their families. You were Marg's pride and joy.

Marg was an amazing woman and a remarkably dedicated library volunteer. For many years, she came in every week and gave her time and energy to our local library, and she enjoyed helping the public and was a bright and cheerful presence on our team. She always found something to laugh about, and we will miss her very much. We at the library send deepest condolences to Marg's family and friends. She will always be in our hearts. - Kacie Gardiner, Lakefield Librarian.

I work at the Regency where Marg resided. She had her own suite when she moved in to the Regency and I worked nights at that time. Marg did not sleep well even back then and when I did my check on her at midnight we would sit and talk sometimes for an hour or more. She talked about her life and I talked about mine. We struck up quite a friendship and even after she had met Don and moved suites she would continue to ask about my family and how and what they were up too. She took a real interest in my family and kids as I did hers .She would sharepics of her great grand babies and when I became a grandma for the first time she was so excited for me and always asked me to show her pics. I loved taking care of her and talking with her. Marg I knew was always in pain but when asked how she was feeling she would come back with a tickity boo and a smile. She was a great lady and I will miss her dearly. My condolences to her kids and their families and Don snd his family. May you Rest In Peace my friend . You deserve to finally rest and be without pain . Christine ( RA at the Regency)
