Denise,
It has been so many years since we have seen each other. I remember spending time at your house, as a little girl, with my lovely aunt and all of my cousins. I cherish those memories. My heart truly breaks for you now. I am a mom now too with a handsome grown son. I can’t begin to understand the sorrow you feel. I can’t imagine the pain. Please know, that I love you and pray for you. I pray for strength and healing for you and the entire family. Although the years and miles have taken us far apart, I still think of my big cousin and love you as much as I did back then.
Love always,
Lisa

As your sister Denise, I want to tell you how deeply saddened I am to hear of Ryan’s passing. I got to know Ryan as a youngster, his love of bicycles, then again as a young man when he visited us in Alberta.
I cry to think we won’t be receiving his text messages telling us how much he loved us, or receiving news of his accomplishments. I can’t explain how bummed we all feel. It’s been a very tough few days for us. Wish we were closer so we could give you the biggest of hugs.
Love you Denise and thinking of you in this very difficult time.

My deepest condolences go out to Ryan's family and friends. Ry was a huge part of my life these last couple of years and I will never forget it. He was strong and brave and he was so much fun, with the best smile I've ever seen. He would do things that were just straight silly just to make me laugh and it always worked, because when he was having fun you couldn't not join him. I will miss all the little things, from making breakfast together to going for drives, holding his hand and building fires. He became my home and the best parts of my week. I will miss him infinitely. I will love him till my last. Rest well dear.

Ryan is truly one of my best friends. It was his passion for adventure that brought us together, through the countless bike and snowboard trips over the years. He kept our friend group close, and I will cherish his extraordinary personality for the rest of my life. Ryan is such a big part of the person I am today, and I will be forever thankful. Love you man.

Our condolences to the Griffin family. Ryan was a close friend to us and to the Peterborough biking community. We built many trails together and did a lot of road trips. Ryan was a motivator and was fearless. He encourage us to take chances and be our best. Although Ryan was away in the Military, he would always come around and see us when he was home. It was like he was never away.
We are having a hard time accepting that you are gone. We are going to miss you at the trails brother!

Ryan and I attended Basic Training together in summer 2017 and were in the same platoon. I’ll always remember him as the fun loving guy who sometimes had too much fun. But I will also remember him as the guy who always did the right thing, at the right time, his heart was ALWAYS in the right place, and I happen to be lucky I knew him when I did. He was a good man. He shall never be forgotten.
My condolences to his family and friends, may he Rest In Peace.
