Mark and Brian Erdelyi were my first clients back in 1988, when I was just a kid starting out in business. They were tough but fair clients, and always quick to laugh. Hard work, but always fun. He always took my call, had time for a coffee, and gave good advice right up until my last meeting with him a few years ago. May his memory be a blessing to those who knew him, and may the sorrow of his passing quickly fade to joy for having known him.

I've had the pleasure of knowing Mark for the better part of 30 years. He and my father were like brothers. The world is an emptier place today and, there is a great void in my life because Mark is no longer with us. Forty-five years we were friends...that is a lifetime....I am going to miss him very much. When I first met Mark and discovered that he, like my father was from Tangier's Jewish community, and as a result, shared many old acquaintances, we bonded quickly. In the few years that followed, though I tried not to take his time for granted, I was surprised at how much of it he was able to share. He provided advice, I would even say a degree of mentorship, and was quick to make introductions with kind reference, if he thought it might help. Mark was generous in every way, and though I hadn't seen him in the last few years, I will never forget him. I offer condolences and wishes of strength to all of his loved ones. May he rest in peace.
