Donald “Don” Wilbert Ingram
June 18, 1953 – July 24, 2021
It is with deep sadness that our family announces the passing of Don Ingram on Saturday July 24th 2021 at the age of 68 at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay. Don was the son of the late Wilbert Ingram and Dorothy Ingram (Anderson). Loving soulmate and best friend of Sharon (nee Orth) for 23 years. Beloved father of Rhonda, Melissa and Alesha and cherished Papa of Jessica, Lauryn, Cameron, James and Allison. Don will be remembered by his brother Keith Ingram and sister Beverley Whibbs both of Peterborough. He will be missed by his extended family and friends.
Don worked for 48 years as Produce Manager at Bobcaygeon Foodland. Don devoted much of his life to community service. He served as a volunteer with Canadian Blood Services for over 20 years. Don was also instrumental in fundraising for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Kawartha Lakes. He was an instructor for Youth Bowling in Bobcaygeon for many years. Don was an active member of the Verulam Masonic Lodge for over 20 years. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed a game of golf. Don was a die-hard Leaf’s fan and never missed watching a Jay's game. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. Patel, Aziz and Seaton and all the nursing staff in the ICU, the Surgical Floor and the Palliative Care Unit at the Ross Memorial Hospital for their excellent care of Don. Special thank you to the Community Care volunteers who sat and visited with Don. In keeping with Don's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Don's life will be held at a later date.
