I am still in shock. Having known Joanne for about 60 years or more, we are mourning her loss. So many memories and stories to tell. She was always ready to lend a hand. Moving to the 7th Line 30 years ago provided us with the precious gift of caring neighbours that of course included Joanne and Ron. Years of neighbourhood wedding showers and baby showers bring back fond memories. More recently we enjoyed walking in Lakefield and occasionally going by Joanne’s home and if we were lucky she would be outside to chat about the critters eating her garden, stories from the farm and excursions in her just perfect for her car, Then there was the trouble of finding canning jars (sold out everywhere)...glad we could help. I was fortunate enough to join Joanne's large circle of friends through Ethel and had many great lunch dates with a group of ladies who had lost husband's.
