WEST: Kenneth Ernest

Passed away at the P.R.H.C. on Saturday May 22, 2021.  Ken West of Bobcaygeon, formerly of Toronto in his 79^th year.  For many years, Ken acted as a Computer Manager for several large Retail chains before continuing his career in mentoring and consulting for many small business owners.  In his retirement, Ken took piano lessons on a prized antique piano and became an enthusiastic member of the Bobcaygeon Curling Club.  He is loved and missed dearly by his wife Betsy McDonald.  Lovingly remembered by his sister Elaine Axt, brother-in-law Sheldon “Spike” Brooks, sister-in-law Anne Hillmer, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.  Predeceased by his loving parents Ernie and Dorothy West, sister Barbara Brooks and brother-in-law Robert Axt.  A private family funeral service has taken place.  Interment was held at Verulam Cemetery, Bobcaygeon.  As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Kawartha Land Trust and may be made by contacting THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, MONK CHAPEL, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-738-3222.
