BARNES: Muriel Francis “Bonnie”

Passed away at the P.R.H.C. on Sunday May 23, 2021.  Bonnie (Banting) of Peterborough, formerly of Agincourt in her 94^th year.  Beloved wife of the late Gordon Barnes (2013).  Loving mother of Peter of Ancaster and Marty and her husband Steve Smith of Peterborough.  Dear sister of the late Robert Banting.  Lovingly remembered by her 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  Cremation has taken place.  A memorial service will be held at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Lakefield, on Saturday October 16, 2021 at 1:00 PM.  You are invited to watch the funeral service by clicking on the link above. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Lakefield.  Memorial donations may be made to St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Lakefield or the charity of your choice as expressions of sympathy.  Friends may send condolences or make donations by contacting THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-652-3355.
