Obituary of Georgina Gertrude Mitchell

MITCHELL: Georgina Gertrude (nee Bovingdon)

Georgina was born November 9, 1927 in Glenelg Township, near Durham, Ontario.  She has received her reward in Heaven on Monday May 10, 2021 at the P.R.H.C.  Predeceased by her loving husband John “Jack” Mitchell and dearest companion Gene Arsenault, son Wayne, brothers Tom, George, Walter and Clarence, sisters Dorothy and Melinda, daughter-in-law Susan Mitchell and parents Lord George Bovingdon and Isabelle Ward.  Georgina leaves behind her wonderful daughter Linda McLean (Jim) and grandchildren Jennifer, Collin, Chris, Jimmy as well as 7 great grandchildren.  Survived by her sister-in-law Jean and many nieces and nephews.  A private family funeral service was held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield.  Interment Lakefield Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to the P.R.H.C.
