I met Jess through the Instagram wellness world. A group of us met at a cottage for a wellness retreat weekend In 2018. Sitting around a fire one evening, I was amazed by Jess’s vulnerability. She shared her fertility struggles with us as a result, other women in the group opened up as well, and we all connected on a deeper level because of her. Although this was the only time we ever met, I enjoyed following her over the past couple years on social media. I loved seeing her joy for Allen and Rachel. And her partner. The way she spoke about her family and her business made me feel more confident in myself as a woman, an entrepreneur, and a mom. I was awaiting a post of the picture of their new addition until today, when I heard the news. Jess was vulnerable yet confident. She oozed authenticity and love. It was evident she touched so many lives. I feel lucky to have met her once.
