KIDD: Harley Grant
Passed away suddenly, on Saturday February 27, 2021. Harley Kidd of Douro-Dummer in his 57th year. Harley was a long-time dedicated employee of Kingdon Lumber for over 36 years as a crane truck operator. He grew up on the family farm and enjoyed farming his entire life and loved the time he spent hunting at the Triple “K” Hunt Club. He is loved and missed by his wife of 36 years, Kim (Edwards). Loving dad to Ryan (Elicia) and Nikki Kidd (Rick Doornbos), all of Douro-Dummer. Also missed by his grandchildren Harper, Rylee and Harleigh. Remembered by his brother Don Kidd (Carol) of Warsaw. Also remembered by his mother-in-law Helen Edwards of Douro-Dummer, sister-in-law Karen Kempt (Bill) of Lang, brothers-in-law Chris Edwards (Linda) of Asphodel-Norwood, Barry Edwards of Havelock, Joe Edwards (Dawn) of Douro-Dummer and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Marvin and Eva, father-in-law Karl Edwards and brother-in-law Karl Edwards. Visitation will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield on Friday March 5, 2021 from 3:00 – 5:00 & 6:00 – 9:00 PM. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, only a specific number of visitors are allowed in the funeral home at one time.
