To Joyce’s family,
You must have many many memories of your childhood and upbringing on your family farm. Your parents were truly a model of a partnership based on love and respect. Whether I rode my bike from home in Hastings to Granny and Grandpa's farm in the summer to help them with the farm work, or stopped in to their house on the 10th Line after playing hockey in the winter just to say Hi, their door was always open, the offer of a meal was extended if the time was right, or just the invite to set a spell and chat about whatever. I learned a lot from them and learning the "science" of making Maple Syrup was one the sweetest gifts that I was ever given from them. My Grandparents were truly a caring and loving couple for the ages and they will be missed. R.I.P.

To the Metcalfe family, we were saddened to here of Joyce's passing , she was a wonderful friend and neighbour. Our families had many good times over the years while living across the road from each other. Joyce lived a long life and you must have so many special memories of her.
She will be joining in on all the icecream parties and dancing with your Dad and all the Donegal dance group that has gone before her in Heaven .
