This is a perfect picture to remember Jim by. He was a great friend who enjoyed his life and his family and friends to the fullest. Jim was always up for a good time and I have lots of great memories of fun times both on Stoney and on various vacations. We lost him way to soon and although he enjoyed every day, I’m sure he would have loved many more to spend with his three girls.
My sincere sympathy is with you —Nancy, Lauren, Kelly and your extended family. As you know, you have an extensive army of friends here to support you in the days and weeks to come and so many great memories to comfort you as well.
With much love and hugs.

Nancy, Lauren and Kelly:
Jim, our gentle giant will be missed so much, but always remembered for his smile, his laughter, his chatter, his generosity and being such a nice human being and friend.
It is difficult to express our feelings of loss, but if the essence of life is to have wonderful friends, then Jim accomplished his life mission.
Our thoughts, love and deepest condolences to your family.

We are saddened beyond words to hear of Jim's passing. Heaven must have needed an angel with a sense of humour who can light up a room just with a smile. We knew Jim was struggling, but didn't realize how tough his battle was. He was a bright light who brightened our days. God bless you, Nancy and your girls, and give you strength to get you through the rough days ahead. With love and hugs, Joni & Randy

Jim and Nancy made my Trent days memorable, and not only because Jim brought a really good roast, or steaks for us roommates to share when he arrived Friday night from Toronto to the apartment on Rubidge Street. We welcomed Nancy's beau. Jim's kind heart, warm personality and humour has given memories to so many. He was a sharp guy.
He will leave a huge loss with Nancy Lauren and Kelly but also an unsurpassed richness. And with the McGee family.
Our love, Judy and Phil

My deepest sympathies to Jim’s family. Jim and I attended public school together at Terraview Heights in Scarborough and played ball and hockey together. It was 50 years later we accidentally connected in Douro Dummer. Great memories.

Nancy, Lauren, Kelly, It was with heavy heart that I received the news of the passing of Jim .My thoughts and prayers are with you. I know you are surrounded with family as best you can during these times. Lean on each other and take strength in knowing that Jim is no longer in pain. Family is so important now and in those days ahead as you come to grips to the losing a husband and father. Stay strong for each other and reflect on all those memories created over that life time.
I first met Jim some 50+ years ago then Nancy shortly after. We enjoyed years on Kennisis, making our own memories, Whether it was the kids on the beach and playing in the sand or those snowmobile rides transporting the group from cottage to cottage. Then there were the fireworks off the raft that went south almost setting the bay on fire, then there were the water skiing/tubing adventures were we spent more time in the water than on it. These are some of the fondest memories I will cherish for ever. Thank You
Jim was always so casual, making everyone in his presence feel welcomed, warm, and better than they were. You are missed and will be forever
Nancy & girls reflect and take comfort in all the smiles, laughter and wonderful times you created. Keep those memories in your heart.
Rest in Peace My Friend

Nancy, Lauren and Kelly,
My heartfelt condolences to you on the loss of Jim. I’ve known Jim since I was a little girl and he was my brother John’s good friend in grade 2. Jim wasn’t kidding when he spoke at John’s celebration of life in 2014 saying that he was kicked out of the Boothroyd cottage on Stoney lake several times. They came up with some pretty good escapades that made my mom furious, when she wasn’t trying not to laugh. I can only hope they’re back at it wherever they are now.
I know the loss will be immense and the struggle difficult and my thoughts are with you.

To the family of Jim McGee,
It was our good fortune to have met Jim and Nancy in Bay Creek, Bonita Springs and to have shared many memories of good times and get togethers with Jim. He was a memorable host and was always game to share a story, play a round of golf or be with neighbors. His warmth and his cordial manner will long be remembered.
Rest in peace, Jim

Bryan and I were so sad to hear of Jim’s passing. We were fortunate to have known him for over 50 years. We met in first year university during orientation week in 1968. This photograph of Jim totally captures him. He was handsome, kind, warm, generous and oh so funny. It was always a joy to be around him and there was never a dull moment when he was around! Our heart goes out to Nancy and his beautiful family. We know he will be so very greatly missed.

Jim was a dear friend and classmate at Trent University where we met over 55 years ago. We had lots of fun together and always enjoyed the weekend retreats in Bethany at the Thompson farm with Kaye and Hunter. He was a true spirit and a family guy all the way. My heart goes out to Nancy and the whole McGee family.
