Obituary of Dorothy Reta Imrie

Dorothy Reta Imrie passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 9, 2020 at Case Manor Care Community in Bobcaygeon. Dorothy reached her milestone birthday of 100 and celebrated with her Case Manor family, and those able to visit outside her window. Dorothy worked and volunteered on and off at Case Manor for 30 years and was presented with a plaque recognizing 1000 hours of volunteer work. She is loved and will be missed by her life-long friend Arling Forrest-Wall, her neighbour and care-giver Jim Walker, and her nieces and nephews M. Bernard Finney of Lindsay, Georgina Casey of Markham, Carol McKinnon of Newmarket, Barbara Ellis of Guelph, Norman Imrie of Barrie, and Dorothy McMullen of Gravenhurst. Predeceased by her parents George Imrie & Margaret Roe, siblings Betty Jean Finney Maxwell Imrie, Violet Imrie, Margaret Imrie-Armstrong and Don Imrie. Arrangements entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, MONK CHAPEL, Bobcaygeon. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to Community Care, Kawartha Lakes would be greatly appreciated.
