Jim Grandy was my first boss at Mr. Grocer in the mid 80’s and I loved working for him, he was a passionate leader with amazing customer service skills, all while being approachable and supportive to his employees which is a rare skill.
As we both moved forward in our careers, I looked forward to running into him at grocery events and was excited every time I saw him over the years.
I will never forget Jim and the valuable life lessons he taught me and he has left a lifelong impression on me.
