Sincere condolences to the Oliver family on Lloyds passing. We were next door neighbors of the Oliver family on the Cobourg Road. Mabel and Virgil, were very best friends to our parents, Jack and Eva Cleary. for many years. Many good memories of those days. Rest in peace Lloyd, a life well lived. RIP Lloyd, my first introduction to you was in my 8th grade at Warkworth Public School when you and a Mr. Montgomery came to our school as student teachers. In subsequent years we played ball together, against each other and I well remember how well you patrolled centre field and your mamoth home runs.
