Sometimes i forget people cant stay forever and time goes by too fast....sometimes it goes way way faster than we want it to....sometimes we dont even notice until its too late.....thankfully tho....after everything he got to see me healthy and sober before he had to go :( a piece of me is going with him it feels like.....theres so many things i wish i said...did....didnt do....done better.....but if theres one thing i know.....is Heaven Gained an amazing man tonight. And I lost one. Taught me so much you made me soooo passionate about art and nature and really just letting myself try new things and get my hands dirty and no matter how badly i messed up how much i hurt you. You loved me. Unconditionally. You always told me there was a way out and a way to do right and be happy. You were soo proud of me last time you saw me. I was truly blessed to have the time i did with you. There should have been much much more. And for that im sorry....and im so sorry i wasnt there....and what i put all you guys through. But i know deep down you always always knew i could do it. This man in this picture guys was a strong man...matriarch of our family..... dependable no matter what you did he would be there. Even if nona said no (love you nona) when i was a kid you and i took the longest bikeride ever well for me at that time down the lakefield bike path All the way from nonas to get me a sprinkled doughnut at timmys in Peterborough by the zoo....remember getting back to noans and being so proud we made it....its the little things that mattered most to him....his family....his stories...and boy did he ever have stories....who knows maybe ill find a hidden diary or something. He always had so much....im proud that i could become the photographer i am and im so glad that i can carry on your passion and i will. And i hope along the way that you can teach me to be just as good if not better than you.....
Im glad your not in pain anymore. But im very sad that you had to go....just please G'paw....watch our backs ok......specially my girls xoxo love you to heaven and back grandpa....if only there was a staircase....
