Marie made my time leading worship in Apsley a joy. She always met us with a smile & hug. When we saw her at Kathy's service after saying how much it meant that we were there she said how much she missed my dad's hugs, I never got a card (which I will cherish) where she didn't send love to my parents. Marie made my time leading worship in Apsley a joy. She always met us with a smile & hug. So very sorry to learn of Marie's passing. I will forever remember her pleasant personality and joyful laugh when she took the lead at choir practice in the United Church. Her musical skills playing the organ for so many years at the United Church will surely be missed. My sympathy to her family.

Im so sorry to hear about Marie my heart goes out to each and every one of you.She was a very sweet woman.I teased her about never seeing her in a pair of "slacks"until one day I did and she had on the whitest pressed perfect slacks i have ever seen. It had to be 30 below but she was still walking anyway!! She will be missed by the entire community.I will miss her and her kind heart it was a pleasure working for her these last few years she was a sweet heart!

Such a pretty lady and such a welcome smile we received from her on Sundays. We were very saddened to hear of Marie’s passing and will miss here smile, her playing such beautiful music and her firm handshake that could bring you to your knees.
