Linda, Tonya and Matt,
Cathy and I could not be more sad or heartbroken at Daves passing. What a truly wonderful great guy and friend. When we think about all the great times we had together and the laughs we all shared it makes Lamby's passing even that much harder.
But, life goes on and now it will be the 3 of us when we get together but that is OK. We will spend much time consoling , laughing and supporting each other. Thinking about and sharing memories. And laughing , as we did a lot of that when we were all together. And Dave would want that.
I don't know of anyone who showed more courage, strength and character than Dave did as he faced the inevetible end he knew was coming. He was so truly unselfish he made it easier on all of us .
Love, Cathy and Eric Johnson.

It is with great sadness that I just learned today - Easter Sunday - of Dave's passing.
Dave and I knew each other since he was born. Our moms were good friends - Elaine was my God-Mother - I have so many fond memories of Dave, fishing together, boating together, we listened to rock music together (Dave really liked Fly Like an Eagle - Steve Miller band - And Dave threw a mean baseball. He and I played catch with our baseball gloves. My hands hurt after playing catch with Dave. And he loved playing Yahtzee, boggle & cribbage. Dave loved his cars, I particularly recall his red & white Pontiac. Dave loved driving it with the tunes cranked.....
Although we didn't see each other much in his later life, I will always have a spot in my heart for my dear friend.Linda, Matt & Tonya please accept my deepest heart felt condolences for the passing of your husband, father and my childhood friend.... Peter Dent

John and I send you, Linda, Tonya and Matt, our love and support. We are so sorry to lose Dave. We are still processing. We all had such a great time together building your deck by the water last summer. A long, but very happy day! Neighbours and friends and Mister all laughing and working side by side to get it done. Dave was certainly in his element! Both Dave, and you Linda, created a strong, loving family which will help you get through this time. We will always remember Dave "rockin away" to his tunes on his deck, at the end of the day - in his Happy Place.

Dave was the most amazing father. He was always there for his children (Tonya and Matt). The love that he and Linda shared was admirable. He was wise and yes... definitely the first to call for directions. He loved his solitude but also loved a good conversation (as long as there were treats around ;).
He raised one of the most caring, hard working and fun loving humans I have ever known, my best friend In the world, Tonya.
We will miss you Dave, but you will never be forgotten.
Til we meet again,
Jenna, Corey, Charlotte and Cooper.
