Sending condolences to Jocelyn, Autumn and Carson. I send healing prayers And of course to Joe, Clarence and Bev. We all do have our memories of Dawson from over the years one way or another. I am sorry for your loss Dan and Wanda....But No More Pain for him just the void left in your hearts now. Living on memories is good. Dawson is now in the Spirit world with his beloved family. His spirit is with you. Not only were you his daughter Wanda but his friend as well. No matter what you know you can never prepare for these hurting times so God Bless and keep his memory strong. He would want that.

My Condolences to the family of Dawson. I met Dawson in 1988 as an apprentice working on the supply ship HMCS Protecteur .We repaired the ships steam turbine engine. I learned alot in a few months. Dawson left a lifelong memory that I will never forgot. I remember lifting the upper casing of the unit by chain fall which was a two man job, unless you were Dawson. He embarrassed us all by doing himself, hand over hand. I'm not a small guy and it would take two of us pulling in unison to do the same. Just a great, smart and funny man. Till we meet again.

I’m sitting here going through all my old photos and memories of all things we have done together over the years.
I laugh, snicker and shake my head at some of the things we did.
You were more than just my Father-in-law, you were one of my best friends, you were my mentor, a role model and my Dad.
You taught me so many things over the years which help me become the person I am today, and for that I will always be grateful.
Our times together hunting, fishing, road trips to the states or just sitting at the island having a few drinks will always be cherished.
Thank you for being the man you were and know you will be greatly missed.
So until we see each other again remember.

Jocelyn, words cannot describe the sorrow we felt on finding out about Dawson's passing. His generous spirit and warmth was clear to everyone who met him. Dawson will be sorely missed and never forgotten. Jocelyn, we pray you will find the strength and love in friends and family to face the tough days ahead.
