Patience. He had to be the most patient man I have ever met. Never in a hurry. I would look at him and wish I had a quarter of the patients he had. I remember talking to him on the phone one morning. He lived in Moosonee/Moose Factory and I was in Englehart. He was working on his train layout and was trying to get two locomotives to start together. One would start or jump right away and the other would not. I talked to him on the phone for close to an hour and he finally got them both to start at the same time. But that is only one time. His life was full of patience and nothing would bother him to the extent he would get upset. Met him in Timmins along with Tom Smith and soon found out they were the best of friends. What a valuable thing to have in life than a best friend. Dan I will miss you as well as others that will too.
