I first met June when I was eight years old. My Dad R.J.J. (Jack) Stevenson took our Mother and my brother and I to Bobcaygeon for a family visit, we all stayed on the Stevenson Family Farm and it was a big eye opener for a city girl to be on a farm. I loved the animals and grandma did a lot of cooking. I got to play with Junes homemade wagon and being the klutz that I was I ended up breaking the Handle somehow. June was upset with me but did not hold it against me. It was a lovely visit and would be a very long time before I ever returned to Bobcaygeon. The next time was for my Fathers funeral in 1986 and I again met up with June and her partner, 'Rollie' the wild colonial boy. Although it was a sad time we did reconnect with the family in Bobcaygeon, which I will always remember.
I am sorry to have to say goodbye to June, and send my sympathies to the Stevenson family, blessings to all.
Love, Salome

Aunt June was a unique woman who lived her life the way she wanted. She was a little stubborn and did not apologize for anything. The last time we visited Aunt June we reminisced about going with her and Uncle Rollie to listen to an Irish band and singing The Wild Colonial Boy in the car all the way home. Good memories! Rest in Peace.
