My Aunt Helen was a classy lady with a twinkle in her eye, who was always elegantly dressed and beautifully turned out. I never heard Aunt Helen speak ill of anyone and she was kind to all of us and always ready for a bit of fun. The last time I saw her was at our annual family reunion that we call the "McKerracher Luau" that we have every August long weekend. Part of the celebrations includes a "talent" show on the Saturday evening and we have turns singing songs, telling jokes or whatever we are brave enough to do in front of the whole family. After watching the show for a while, Keith and Helen got up and did a funny skit, something about golf if I recall. We laughed and laughed. I am sad that I will never again see that sweet smile and hear her gentle voice. Rest in peace darling Helen.
