Obituary of Susanne Hinton
Passed away peacefully at home at the age of 65, with family by her side on November 14, 2019 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Susanne was the longtime former owner of The Village Florist in Bobcaygeon and co-owner of The Kawartha Spirit Boat Cruise. She is loved and treasured, and will be forever missed by her husband Randy, former husband and good friend Glenn Bracey, children Shane Bracey (Amy), Melanie Hunt (Trevor), Nicole Knox-Hinton (Kevin) and Chad Hinton (Lorrie), grandchildren Reese, Alyssa, Ayden, Logan, Aliya, Mason, Alexis and Roman, and beloved fur friend Casper. Susanne is loved and cherished by so many, including her Denmark family, brother Per and sister-in-law Hellé, sister-in-law Anna, nieces and nephews Peter, Johanne, Dorte, Lise, Sarah, Anna Sophia, Pia, Line and Lisslotte, school friend Eva, blended family grandchildren Drew, Matthew, Rebecca, Laura, Julia, Savannah, Jaida, Kennidy, Hailey and Bri, great grandson Hudsyn and many other family and friends. Predeceased by parents Arne & Ketty Eckhoff, and brothers Pella and John. The family would like to acknowledge and give thanks for the care and compassion of RNs Natalie and Desiree of Paramed Home Health Care, and Drs. Matheson, Chandok and Dickie. Arrangements entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, MONK CHAPEL. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday November 24, 2019 at Royal Canadian Legion Br. 239, 96 King St E, Bobcaygeon, ON from 1:00 – 4:00 PM with memories shared at 2:30 PM.
