He was a great uncle I had as a child. I remember the times we went fishing, swimming canoeing along the river. Our times walking up to our families fishing spots.
Also very memorable helping me learn to drive. Backing up around the driveway learning how to use the mirrors. Our multiple trips to Peterborough for chinses :) And also teaching me about wood burning. Helping to push forward with art.
So many child hood memories.
Always being so proud and saying that's good nephew, I'm so proud of you and pushing me forward. Always with that encouragement.
Rest in Peace Uncle Gordie you'll always be remembered as the most pushing forward Uncle I have. And all those childhood memories.
