Obituary of Steve Austin

Steve Austin of Bobcaygeon passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at the age of 56 with family by his side. Son of the late Isobel and Harry Austin of Kinmount. Beloved husband of Sherée Devitt. Loving father of Joel, Riley and Brady. Brother of Jeff Austin of Peterborough, Charles Austin of Huntsville and the late Jennifer Austin. Brother-in law of Janet Devitt, Juanita & Shane Quibell, and Maria & Sam Beggs.  Uncle of Joshua, Hannah, Lucia and Ethan.  He will be missed by Bernice Owens of Kinmount, his aunt Eloise Peirson, cousins Mike, Tish, Kelly, Scott and families and many friends. Steve’s entire life revolved around his family and hockey, spending winters driving all over Ontario. He played and coached hockey. He was a hockey player first but he enjoyed football, baseball, golf and lately he enjoyed ice fishing.  Steve worked with his family at J.K. Devitt Services in Bobcaygeon as a mechanic and operator.
