Al was such a special person, so musically gifted, and shared his talents with anyone who showed an interest in learning. He was kind and always willing to help out wherever needed. Our hearts are filled with sadness that we no longer will see that wonderful smile or share a hug and a coffee. His friendship was a gift we treasure. We are blessed to have known him and share in his life journey.

Al was my friend. We played in two bands together (Just Plain Country and Night Shift). He was perhaps one of the kindest people I've met in my journey and I am very proud to call him a friend. I golfed with Al and shared his love of music and performing. My hope is that his family and friends take comfort in knowing he was loved, friendship was cherished and he will be fondly remembered for these attributes. I will miss him.
