Obituary of Claire Robb

Joanne Claire Robb (nee Whitworth) 1933-2019

On April 17, 2019 Claire peacefully passed away at Case Manor, Bobcaygeon, Ontario at the age of 85.  Beloved wife of Howard Robb for 64 years.  Loving mother of David (Marilyn), Stephen (Carrie) and Brenda (Brent). Much loved grandmother to Brandon, Kevin and Andrew.  Claire was one of five children born in Montreal to James Whitworth and Alice (Fowler).  After marrying Howard in 1955 and living in Beaconsfield, Quebec they moved to Thornhill, Ontario in 1976. Claire and Howard retired in 1985 and built their retirement home in Bobcaygeon.  Claire enjoyed hosting family gatherings, camping, gardening, crafts, wintering in Florida and most of all her 3 grandsons. Thanks to the staff at Case Manor for the loving care they provided to Claire. In keeping with Claire’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
