Obituary of Helen Walker

Helen, beloved wife of the late Stewart John and dear friend of many, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Pinecrest Nursing Home, Bobcaygeon, in her 92nd year. She will be remembered with great love by her children John and his wife Marilyn of Holland Landing and Lynne and her husband David Iley of Bobcaygeon. Cherished grandmother of her four grandsons and their families, Shawn (Adriana) Walker, Matthew (Nadine) Iley, Stephen (Jaimie) Walker and Michael (Tara) Iley. Great-grandmother of Caleb, Megan, Natalie, Brett, Benjamin, Chloe, Noah, Olivia, Madeleine and Leyton. The family wishes to thank the caring staff of Pinecrest Nursing Home and Drs. Oldridge and Snarr of the Kawartha Lakes Family Health Team for their tremendous support.  The family would also like to thank the Reverend Rodney Smith-Merkley for his prayers and support.
