Obituary of Marjorie Mitchell

Peggy Mitchell formerly of Toronto and Bobcaygeon passed away at her residence in Whitby on Monday, January 21, 2013 at the age of 90.  Daughter of the late Harry and Marjorie Tonkin.  Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Gilmore and Wesley Mitchell.  Mother of Don Gilmore, Whitby; and Ian (Shirley) Gilmore, Whitby.  Grandmother of Leslie, Jeffery, Steven, and Laura.  Great-Grandmother of Abby, Josh, Kennedy, Alex and Cheyenne.  Special Nana to Marie and Great-Grandma to Theo.  Sister of Gord (Marg) Tonkin, Scarborough and the late Donald Tonkin and Norma Blaney.  She will be missed by her nieces and nephews.  A Memorial Service and reception will be held in the “Town Hall” 1st Floor in “The Village of Taunton Mills” 3790 Brock Street, North, Whitby, ON, on Saturday, February 2nd, 2013 at 1:30 p.m.  Funeral arrangements through MONK FUNERAL HOME, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon (705-738-3222 or 866-393-0063) If desired, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence, donations, memories and photos may be shared at www.monkfuneralhome.com
