Obituary of Mary Lou Jennings

Mary Lou Jennings - Passed away peacefully at Specialty Care Case Manor in Bobcaygeon on September 27, 2012, at the age of 84.  Beloved wife of the late Ross James Jennings and much loved mother of Elisabeth (Darcy) Gowing, Diane (David) Tobin, and Susan Jennings (Dan Nicol). Devoted grandmother of Courtney, Keith, Kevin, Erin and Callum. She also leaves a brother, John, in Australia.  Throughout her life on Heddington Ave. in Toronto and in Bobcaygeon where she and Ross spent their retirement years, our mother made friends easily, always found the good side of those she met, and was quick to laugh. Mom lived her life with a passion to love generously. Special thanks to those who helped her enjoy her life on Sturgeon Lake for many years, and for the excellent care she received in later years at William Place in Lindsay and at Case Manor. We knew she was in kind and caring hands.  In accordance with her wishes, a cremation has taken place and a private service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please remember her warmly with a donation to a charity reflective of her kindness and energy.
