Our hearts go out to you all in this great loss. Kathy was a much loved and faithful friend, whom we got to know when attending Trinity Church during the years we lived on Chandos. She kept in touch with us by email after we moved to BC and the last note we had from her was on January 12th. Even then she was upbeat and so positive! We will all miss her tremendously. May God comfort your hearts and surround you with His peace and presence in the days and months ahead. Our thoughts and prayers have been focused on you especially today as you celebrate her life together.

There is a special bond between a mother and her son, and ours was truly a strong and special indeed. I still can't believe you are gone Mom. I'm trying to take comfort in the fact that you are no longer in pain, but I'm not going to lie...it is painstakingly hard to this point. I am feeling so lost right now. But as you know we have a strong family and we will get through it together. And as you said in your letter to me, you will never be more than a thought away.
I hope this candle filled with love finds you Mom, and may it burn eternally. You are the best mom a son could ask for...I hope you know how well you and Dad did at raising Darryl and I...I'm not sure I stated that enough. But you know I loved you, and I know you knew that was thanks enough.
I love you Mom, and when the time comes that we meet again I hope you are the first to greet me with open arms so I can have one of those hugs only a mom can give.
