Obituary of Timothy Joseph Morrissey

MORRISSEY, TIMOTHY JOSEPH – On Friday August 17, 2018, Tim passed away peacefully at home in Douro with his best friend and wife by his side at the age of 64. A wonderful husband to Margie (Towns) for 40 years. Amazing father to Molly & Greg Conlin, Julie & Luke Moher, Paul & Michelle Morrissey. Best grandpa ever to Jocelyn, TJ, Sydney, Mason, Myles and Sebastian. Tim will be missed by his siblings, Paula & Wayne Ying, Lynda & Dave Atman, Cathy Morrissey & Steve Loewy, Doug & Francine Morrissey and his favourite cousin, Brad Morrissey. He will also be missed by Margie’s siblings Mary Jo & Charles Connell, Annette & Paul Dunford, John & Kelly Towns, Pat Towns, Willie & Janet Towns, Jean & Bob Young, Steve Towns, Lionel & Jennifer Towns. Tim had many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles and friends who will greatly miss him as well. Predeceased by his parents Paul and Marg Morrissey and Margie’s parents, Joe and Mary Towns.

Friends and family are invited to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen St., on Monday August 20, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM. His funeral will be held at St. Joseph’s Church in Douro on Tuesday August 21, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
