To the Majury Family,
Since condolences from the daughters and family of Frank and Kay Barbetta. We have several of Jim's personally signed (to my Dad) prints - they belonged to my parents. I now have the Wolf hanging in my study - I love it because it brings authentic but beautiful nature, indoors.
I remember my father speaking so highly of Jim; he was in awe of his artistic ability and how it helped his own work. With deepest sympathy on behalf of our family,
Catherine Barbetta

Dear Peggy and family .
Ron and I are so sorry to hear of your loss.
I knew Jim when i worked at Toronto East General Hospital back in the 1970's.
We met in the Emergency department when he came in about his cases and I remember him drawing for the IdeniKit . Then we met up here when Ron and I moved to Port 32 in 2001. We played many a card game over the years.
One of his paintings hangs in our lobby and reminds me of him every time we walk in the front door.
I have also have given several as wedding presents over the years, so they are in the UK and Australia
Our prayers and and thoughts are with you and your family at this difficult time. Please let us know if there is anything we can help you with.

Michael and I were saddened to hear of Jim's passing. We have known Jim for more than thirty years and have enjoyed many a lively conversation on our shared passions of art and wildlife. His paintings were a true reflection of his love of nature and his artistic talent. We also enjoyed hearing his many adventures during his years with the police department. What an amazing life he led! We extend our heartfelt condolences to Peggy and his children. He will be greatly missed by his fellow artists at the Buckhorn Fine Art Festival as well as his friends throughout the art community. We know his legacy will live on through his family and his art. We are thinking of you fondly at his sad time. Affectionately, Michael and Ellen

To the Majury family, our deepest condolences. I personally remember speaking to Uncle Jim about getting on the police force and he gave me the best recommendation. I also remember the next family reunion Uncle Jim asking me about it and chatting with him. He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten. Remember that you all have the love in your hearts and the memories that will last you a life time and beyond. That is something that no one can ever take from you.
On behalf of Neil Smith, my father and Ruby's son, he would like to also give you his condolences. He has lots of fond memories of Uncle Jim.
Blessings to you all.
