I am so saddened at the loss of Nelson, but awestruck when I think about where he is right now. The song ‘I Can Only Imagine’ is extremely fitting as we think about Nelson and Karen dancing before the Lord, or falling on their knees in worship at the sight of the King of Kings! Here on earth we feel the loss, but there we can imagine only great rejoicing.
I have such fond memories of Nelson and Karen, having grown up as friend to their children and fellow worshipper at the Fellowship Christian Centre. We spent lots of time together back then, and I wouldn’t trade those memories for anything (sorry for shooting the tip off your finger Perry!) (thanks for the memories Kelly!) (I don’t think I ever thanked you properly for the way you supported me at YWAM Tracey. ❤️) You guys will always be family to me, and I will miss your parents, knowing they will not be there to run into next time I’m home.
