I knew brendan from jesse ketchum p.s. and knox presbyterian church camp and after school program. Brendan was an absolute savior to me during these growing up years. Skinny, white, and a tenor voice i was an easy target for bullies. I can recall more than one instance brendan stood up for me. I come from a strong christian family and was ridiculed for having over pertective parents. This man would always have my back. I remember playing ball hockey at knox after school with brendan, and we would meet in the youth life room for chips and cookies and bible study with youth pastor at the time rob kennedy. These are great memories! He truly was god sent to me at this time in my life and I couldnt have asked for a better brother in christ. Brendan was by far one of the coolest, nicest, dudes I know, and I thank god for him. My thoughts and prayers with the family always. May god use this tragedy to his glory.
