Uncle Nelson was such an adorable man. So sweet and cheerful with a warm instant grin and a twinkle in his eye.
When I was a child the Sears delivery man (who came to our home frequently) looked just like him. So although I didn’t get to see Uncle Nelson often, I thought of him at least once a week when my Mom received a delivery from Sears.

Darlene and Joanne... I was saddened by the paasing of both your parents. They were very kind to me when my own parents passed. Memories come flooding back from living with you when we were young to talking about boys as teenagers. We live with our parents for such a short time but they remain in our hearts forever. God Bless you.

Hello Darlene and Joanne,
I was saddened to see that your dad has passed
He was always mild mannered, as I remember.
Probably also one of the last of our Fairview Congregation and community
We have so many good memories of our RR4 families, as Margeurite and Deb have mentioned also.
Thinking. Of you, as I drive often back through the centre line and recall the houses and peoples we would visit or see at church, school, suppers and concerts.
Regards, Debbie Farthing, Sandra, Vick Rosemary and Robb..

Darlene and Joanne:
I just found out today of your Dad's passing. I'm so sorry for your loss. It is so hard to loose a parent no matter what their age. I have fond memories back when we were in elementary school of going to your house for sleep overs and just our friendship way back then. Your parents always seemed to be supportive of you. We have just moved back to Peterborough and have built a house on the family farm. Would love to re-connect if you are in the area.
Thinking of you at this sad time.

What can I say. I am so sorry for the loss of such a wonderful man. I can't think of a time when I saw papi and he wasn't smiling or making silly little jokes. May he rest in paradise with his loving wife happy up in the sky watching down on us all. He lived a wonderful long life full of love from his family and friends. My condolences to everyone through this hard time. All the love xo.
