Passed away peacefully at his home on Monday July 10, 2017. Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Pott).  Cherished father of Maria Verge (Mike), Dick (Elaine), Kathy Dunford (Ted), Joyce Clark (Frank), the late Daniel (Debbie), and Brian D. Curry. Father-in-law of the late Dan Dunford. Missed by his grandchildren Jeffrey, Jennifer, Joanna, Jason, Ryan, Hally, Matthew, Melissa, Thomas, and great grandchildren Jesse, Toni Lynn, Samantha, Brandon, Courtney, Sheldon, Raine, Leora. Remembered by sisters Elizabeth (late Peter), Susanna (late Bill), late Katharina (Cornelius), late Helen (John), late Mary (Herman), late Anna (Albert), and late brother Bernard (Anna). Survived by many nieces and nephews. Son of the late Wilhelm and Helena Unrau. Friends and relatives are invited to call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Wednesday July 12, 2017 from 7:00-9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the Hendren Chapel on Thursday July 13, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Interment Lakefield Cemetery. Reception to follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home.
