Obituary of Thomas Walter Lyle Jacobs
Sadly on Friday, July 7, 2017 Tommy passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Tom will always be remembered for his big generous heart and his love for cooking, cutting grass and making amazing memories with his family. Although Tom was a quiet and unassuming man who lived life to the fullest he left his mark on everyone and everything, whether it was hitting the first home run at the Curve Lake Ball Park, to the famous flying hip check on the rink or golfing at Tamarac, he gave it his all.
Tom's pride and joy was his family, dedicated to his wife Deanna, the love of his life, his only son Thomas whom he was so proud of and loved so much and most importantly his three grandchildren, Gavin, Brooklyn and Blake who he absolutely adored.
He is survived by his wife Deanna, son Thomas (Sherry), grandchildren Gavin, Brooklyn and Blake. Loved and missed by his mother Betty Lou, brothers Vance (Arlene), Kirk, Dean (Darlene), Alan (Marie), Alvin (Rowie) and sisters Kim (Lea), Wendy (Fred) and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his father Mervin and his dogs Girlie and Rocco
