Passed away at Peterborough Retirement Residence on Monday July 3, 2017.  George Clements of R.R. #4 Lakefield in his 95th year.  Beloved husband of the late Edna (nee Steacy) (2013).  Loving father of the late Robert and his wife Margaret of B.C., and Ken and his wife Anne of Whitby.  Loving grandpa of Ryan, Robin, Amy, Jeff and great grandfather of Thomas, Sera, Mason and Jaxson.  Dear brother of Vivian White (Don) and Jim Jacobs (Bernice).  Survived by his sisters-in-law Frances, Margaret and Irene and several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his brothers Earl, Raymond and Arden and by his sister Noreen.  Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Sunday July 9, 2017 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM.  A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday July 10, 2017 at 11:00 AM.  A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the Funeral Home.  Interment St. Mark’s Cemetery, Warsaw.  Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the charity of one’s choice as expressions of sympathy and may be made by contacting the funeral home at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-652-3355.
