While I'd heard Pablo had taken ill, I was somewhat relived speaking to him a couple weeks ago. His passing comes as a shock to be sure. Pablo was a good, kind hearted man who loved his family and friends with all of his heart and was generous to a fault. You knew you could depend on him because his word was gospel and he would move heaven on earth to make things happen for you and to make you feel wanted and loved.
We will miss spending fun times with him and sharing meat recipes and discussions over the phone regarding our favourite ways to broil, braise, BBQ or boil our favourite cuts of meat.
He was a big man with a big heart and a strong belief that family and friends were all you need to complete a happy life. We will miss you but we know we were blessed to have you in our lives. Thank you for being our friend.

Please accept my deepest condolences with the loss of Pablo. You do not know me personally but I am Art Black's sister. I did meet Pablo years ago in Brampton when I was visiting Art and of course, he visited my family home in northern New Brunswick. Art often referred to him as his "Blue's Brother' and I know how much their friendship meant to both of them. I have heard Art talk about him for years...lots of great stories. I would like to express my condolences as Pablo was always a rock for me when I was the only female in the union in 1992.He was always way ahead of most men when it came to equality.
